The Hon. Datuk Dr. Leo Michael Toyad, Minister of Tourism, Malaysia launched the 4th Borneo Cultural Festival (BCF) Tourism Night at the Town Square in Sibu,Sarawak on Friday 8 July 2005.

Guests for the evening were entertained by a colourful performance by the Borneo Malay / Melanau group, the Borneo Dayak performance, followed by the Melaka cultural group performance and the Korean cultural group performance.

The eight-day BCF showcased a karaoke song contest, a tea-tarik competition and a live entertainment. The Fest could provide a boost to the Central Region and the local tourism industry.
