Tourism Malaysia promotes cruise events. We work closely with Non-Government Organizations (NGO), State Tourism, Shore Excursion agents and Port Authorities.
Tourism Malaysia creates visibility and marketing opportunities for players where we participate in exhibitions throughout the year such as this year’s Cruise Shipping Miami, Florida, Cruise Global Tourism Conference & Exhibition, Langkawi, and Seatrade Cruise Asia, Busan Korea. Apart from participating in these exhibitions, Tourism highlights destinations by organizing events centered around cruise stops. For instance, we have had Welcome Reception at Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal, Penang, Welcome Reception at Boustead Cruise Center, Port Klang and at Langkawi Star Cruise Terminal.
