Datuk Dr. Leo Michael Toyad, Minister of Tourism, and Dato' Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Minister of Tourism, have collaborated on a coffee table book entitled Malaysia My Destination to be launched at Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur on 26 May, 2005.

Published by the Ministry of Tourism, the idea for the book was originally conceived by the Honourable Minister and took nearly six months to complete. It portrays the multiple facets of the country, its people, traditions and culture and is a vital source of information about Malaysia's tourism assets and potential. Thus, it also serves to promote Malaysia as a tourism destination and is the ideal souvenir for visiting dignitaries and trade guests to the country.

The photographs in the book have been amassed by Tourism Malaysia over the years and include those by local professional photographers. Organised into sections to display various aspects of tourism products such as ecotourism, shopping, islands and beaches, theme parks, crafts and cuisine, the images capture the diversity of Malaysia's beauty for posterity.
