Tourism Malaysia's Visit Malaysia Year 2007 television commercial featured the Prime Minister of Malaysia welcoming the world to join in the country's One Golden Celebration. It was an invitation to millions of colours, thrills, dreams and smiles, showcasing a year full of events commemorating Malaysia's 50th year of nationhood. The TV commercial imbues Malaysian warmth, hospitality and pride against the backdrop of some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.

The Travel Manual Interactive CD serves as a comprehensive guide for the travel trade. It contains information on holiday regions in Malaysia such as places of interests, shopping and dining, national parks and marine parks, arts and culture, festival and events, sports and recreation, tours and accommodation. This CD also serves as reference for tour operators to design travel packages for Malaysia.

The Director General of Tourism Malaysia, Dato' Mirza Mohammad Taiyab, said that Tourism Malaysia was truly honoured to receive the accolades from PATA.

"The marketing media awards are a significant recognition of the accomplishment by Tourism Malaysia team and our partners in promoting and positioning Malaysia as a preferred holiday destination. The awards are also a reflection of our dedication towards excellence in the hospitality industry," he said.
