MALAYSIA WELCOMES PERFECT CHINA GROUP AHEAD OF 30TH ANNIVERSARY CONFERENCE
KUALA LUMPUR, 16 June 2024 – Malaysia welcomed 10,000 incentive participants from Perfect China Group today in conjunction with the group’s 30th Anniversary Conference which is scheduled to take place on 20th June 2024 at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
The participants from 10 different regions in China such as Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau, will be experiencing Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Melaka prior to the conference to discover and immerse in Malaysia’s rich history, culture, gastronomy, and modern life. From a historical tour around Malacca City to a luxurious shopping spree around the heart of Kuala Lumpur and indulging in durian-tasting in Broga, Selangor, the participants is set for a memorable experience here in Malaysia.
The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Tourism Malaysia, and Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) have given support to ensure the success and smooth journey for this mega-scale group from China. This tour serves as an important bridge to strengthening ties between Malaysia and China and spreading the uniqueness of Malaysia in preparation for Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
This year, Malaysia targets to receive 27.3 million international tourist arrivals with RM102.7 billion in tourism receipts for 2024, with 5 million arrivals targeted to be from the China market. China remains among the top countries contributing tourist arrivals to Malaysia. In 2023, Malaysia welcomed a total of 1,474,114 China tourists with RM8,827.75 billion in tourism receipts.
