KELANTAN SALES MISSION TO PROMOTE DOMESTIC TRAVEL

Tourism Malaysia is leading a Domestic Sales Mission to
Kelantan from 4 until 9 April 2006. Activities during the sales
mission include a travel mart for the tourism trade players as well as
a consumer fair for the public.

The travel mart session, scheduled on 6 April at Renaissance
Hotel, Kota Bharu, will be officiated by YBhg. Dato' Kamaruddin
Siaraf, Director General of Tourism Malaysia. A total of 150
sellers comprising representatives from selected hotels, travel
agencies and tourism product operators from Kuala Lumpur,
Selangor, Putrajaya, Sabah, Perak, Pahang, Johor, Melaka and
Negeri Sembilan are participating in the travel mart. They will have a
chance to network and develop their business with some 160 buyers
comprising travel agents, hoteliers, tour operators and large
corporations from Kelantan and Terengganu.

The CutiCuti
Malaysia (CCM) Travel Fair, a consumer fair
aimed at promoting domestic travel packages to the public, will be
held from 7 until 8 April at KB Mall, a main shopping attraction in
Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The public can expect many exciting and
valueformoney
holiday packages on offer.

During the fair, the public will also be entertained with cultural
performances such as kulintangan from Sabah, zapin from Johor,
dabus, arjuna and gambus from Perak, as well dikir barat from
Kelantan. Games and quizzes with attractive prizes will also be
organised for the public.
