In conjunction with the MalaysiaChina Friendship Year 2004, Tourism Malaysia is organizing a China Travel Mart on 24 May 2004 at the First World Hotel in Genting Highlands. It will be officiated by
the Hon. Datuk Dr Leo Michael Toyad, Minister of Tourism.

About 200 buyers from major cities in China are expected at the mart specially held to provide opportunities for business ventures between Malaysian and Chinese travel trade members and promote Malaysia as an ideal holiday destination for Chinese tour operators.

Tourism Malaysia will give a presentation on Malaysia's tourism products to the participants from China and they will later be taken on familiarisation tours to places of interest in the country.

The China Travel Mart is anchored by Tourism Malaysia with cosponsors, Malaysia Airlines and Resorts World.
