PATA Youth Symposium themed "Inspiring Tourism Leaders of Tomorrow" began on September 12, 2018 at MIEC, where Y.B. The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture has attended and delivered a speech to 210 students from 9 Malaysian universities and 8 international universities in the symposium.

Hosted by Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) and Persatuan Alumni Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar Universiti Teknologi MARA (PIMPIN) in collaboration withPATA Malaysia Chapter and Tourism Malaysia.
