'Tis the season to be jolly! And what better way to get into the spirit of this holiday season than a day spent with your loved ones at Malaysia's Best Shopping Mall for Families - Pavilion Bukit Jalil. If you don't know where to begin, rest assured as we've got some ideas for you.

Pavilion Bukit Jalil has made it heaps easier for you to plan your visit ahead of time and decide which outlets you're interested in through its mobile app Pavilion Bukit Jalil! It's also a helpful direction guide for when you are wandering around the huge mall. There are plenty of eateries, personal care, entertainment, and edutainment outlets to choose from. Contrary to popular belief, you don't necessarily have to shop at a shopping mall! Here's how we treated ourselves instead:

We divided our special Holiday-cation Retreat into three aspects: Dining, Pampering, and Bonding.

DINING

We started off the day with a holiday feast at everyone's favourite steamboat chain, Suki-Ya. It was our very first time and the verdict: it was worth the hype. It was the perfect place to share a meal with your family and friends, what with the unlimited servings of all kinds of meat and vegetables. We definitely took our time and savour every bite before we moved on to the next agenda of the day. Pro tip: come early on weekdays to avoid the long queue!

PAMPERING/SELF CARE

Next, we headed for the ultimate pampering session at Skinz Sanctuary. Upon arrival, we were served a warm cup of tea and we were given a form to fill out for them to understand our skin concerns and then proceeded to suggest the most suitable treatment. After a one-hour relaxing facial treatment in their cosy room, we returned as a happier, rejuvenated version of ourselves with radiant skin!

BONDING

To end the day, we spent 'til late through our favourite bonding activity– a three-hour-long karaoke session. Pavilion Bukit Jalil's K11 Karaoke was by far our best karaoke experience yet, with its affordable prices, spacious rooms, an extensive selection of songs, and most importantly, a standing mic for that performing fantasy! The establishment also has several rooms depicting a recording studio that can fit 2 pax, so we will definitely be returning for that.

It is safe to say that after our curated Holiday-cation Retreat at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, we have found our new mall of choice and we might just treat ourselves on a more regular basis! A pay-day retreat has some ring to it, don't you think?
