11 ASEAN media had been invited and participating in TOMER 2022. They are Malay-Language media from Indonesia (Jakarta & Medan), Brunei & Thailand. TOMER2022 or Tourism Malaysia Media Explore Race is to get influential people in the media to help promote tourism destinations in Malaysia while completing a scavenger hunt. The total of 88 media practitioners took part in this race.

After the event, participants were taken to KLCC, Menara KL and Kwai Chai Hong as their post tour updates.
