VIETNAMESE TYCOONS DISCOVER BUSINESS AND LUXURY IN MALAYSIA

KUALA LUMPUR, 14 JUNE 2012: A group of 40 businessmen comprising decision makers of some of Vietnam's respected companies are in Kuala Lumpur from today until 17 June to get a taste of luxury Malaysia during their business trip to the country.

Their visit is part of a special travel package created by Tourism Malaysia and Nam Huong Corporation in Vietnam to provide an exclusive holiday cum business trip to Malaysia for the top leaders in Vietnam and their spouses. Tourism Malaysia supports the programme as it will help to introduce Malaysia as a luxury leisure and business destination among Vietnam's top business people.

The business segment comprises the "Leader Talk" seminar from 15 to 16 June during which the group will learn about the banking and financial system in Malaysia from Hong Leong Bank. The highlight of the seminar is the meeting with Malaysian billionaire Tan Sri Vincent Tan, Chairman of Berjaya Group, who will share with them his experience of doing business in a talk titled, "The Experience of a Malaysian Tycoon."

A networking session and gala dinner will be hosted for them by Berjaya Times Square Hotel on 16 June.

Since their visit coincides with the launch of the 1Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival, several shopping trips have also been planned to Suria KLCC, Starhill and Berjaya Times Square, where the group will have the chance to visit luxury brand boutiques and dine at some of the finest restaurants in the city. They will also visit the PETRONAS Skybridge and Royal Selangor Visitor Centre.
