TOURISM MALAYSIA ANNOUNCES MY PRECIOUS MALAYSIA: PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS
PUTRAJAYA, 18 October 2021 – Tourism Malaysia has launched MY Precious Malaysia Photo Contest on 20th August to 16th September 2021 in conjunction with this year’s National Day celebration. The theme focuses on participants’ memorable experiences in Malaysia that showcases the beauty of this country.
The photo contest received about 166 participants with 311 photos that covers three categories which are Nature, Icon, and Creative. 38 finalists were shortlisted and nine winners (three from each category) were selected based on the photo’s uniqueness and other criteria.
Grand Prize winners will receive an RM 5,000.00 travel package to Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa in Langkawi, including airfare for two (2). The package includes two nights' accommodation as well as complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Runners-up, on the other hand, will receive a travel package for two (2) respectively to Port Dickson and Sunway Lagoon.
Tourism Malaysia is honoured to announce the winners as follows:
Winner: Lim Kooh Hean
for Nature Category.
Winner: Govindarajoo
Selvathurai for Icon Category.
Winner: Normami Binti Awang Musa@Yusof for Creative Category.
