The Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak visited the newly-opened Tourism Malaysia Tourist Information Centre (TIC) at Johor Premium Outlets (JPO) in Kulaijaya, Johor, on 11 December 2011.

YAB Dato' Sri Najib signed the plaque and visitors' book to commemorate his visit to the centre in conjunction with the official opening of JPO. It was witnessed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism, YBhg. Dato' Dr. Ong Hong Peng, and the Acting Director General of Tourism Malaysia, YBhg. Dato' Haji Azizan Noordin. Also present were the Director of Communications and Publicity Division of Tourism Malaysia, Mr. Mohmed Razip Hasan, the Director of Domestic Marketing Division of Tourism Malaysia, Mr. Musa Yusof and Tourism Malaysia Johor State Director, Mr. Edzuar Zar Ayob Azari.

Later, YBhg Dato' Haji Azizan presented a souvenir made by Kraftangan Malaysia Johor to the Prime Minister as a token of appreciation.

The Tourist Information Centre was opened at Johor Premium Outlets to provide visitors with tourist information, assistance and advice, particularly on the attractions and tourism products and services in Johor.

The 77 sq ft Tourist Information Centre is located at Suite 600 in Brown Precinct together with the Royal Malaysia Police. It is open daily from 10am to 7pm.

The interior design of the centre adopted a modern minimalist style. It is equipped with a counter table, a waiting area and brochure racks.
