About EPL Masters
Masters Football is an established indoor football tournament that has been running in the UK to packed crowds for over 10 years. It brings together some of the best ex-pros the game has ever seen, such as John Barnes, Ian Rush, Bryan Robson, Lee Sharpe, Gianfranco Zola, Andy Cole, Ray Parlour and Steve McManaman, who all regularly compete on the Masters circuit.
The format of the tournament is six-a-side, with boards surrounding the pitch – so the action is fast and furious! Each team has a squad of nine players and rolling substitutions are allowed.
After enjoying great success in the UK, Masters Football first came to Asia in December 2008, with an exciting inaugural tournament held in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The event was held again in 2009 at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil, with legend players from the top EPL teams representing their clubs.
